NBA free agent signings 2023: Live updates on every deal and trade this summer

Here is every free agent signing and trade in the NBA this summer.

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Philadelphia 76ers Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The opening days of NBA free agency were a frenzy with unexpected twists and turns. The Phoenix Suns added firepower to their bench by pulling off some impressive signings on minimum contracts. The Denver Nuggets lost a key piece from their championship roster when Bruce Brown went to the Indiana Pacers on a lucrative two-year deal. The Houston Rockets paid huge money for veterans Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks to help get them out of the cellar. The Los Angeles Lakers continue to add more depth, highlighted by stealing Gabe Vincent away from the Miami Heat.

The biggest moves of free agency have yet to happen. Damian Lillard has requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers, and James Harden has requested a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers. Lillard reportedly wants to land in Miami, but the Blazers are determined by make the best deal for the team. Harden opted into his 1-year, $36.5 million player option, and reportedly wants to end up on the Clippers. It will be fascinating to see how and when those deals eventually go down.

In other free agency news, Kyrie Irving, Draymond Green, and Khris Middleton all remained with their club on a new deal. Be sure to check out our list of the top-75 free agents in the league this summer.

We’ll be keeping track of every NBA free agency signing in 2023 with this post.
